About Me
Design is a form of education that has the potential to shape a society. To maximize its influence, it should be easily disseminated. For me, this can involve not only conventional mass production but also productions in which the user is involved. Growing up in a low-income household, I strive to design efficiently, yet I also have a fascination for high-end products and see their necessity for humanity as equally important, as long as it is not about luxury.

However, when I look around my environment, I see many products that carry a potential rarely realized. With many things I own, I can hardly enjoy them beyond their functionality. While using them, the thought lingers in my mind that I want to replace the product one day with one whose design endures — even if the function has been surpassed many times in the future.
In doing so, I want to develop new perspectives, even for objects that have a traditional and therefore rarely questioned form.
I see the societal need for contemporary design more than ever today, as a fundamentally different approach to resources is necessary. This should not be accompanied by a sacrifice of functionality but can ideally even enhance the overall quality of the product. Change is only possible here if objects are fundamentally rethought.
I am inherently curious about how the world works, which is why I began a physics degree at KIT. However, I discontinued it because, contrary to my expectations, it was purely reproductive. Innovation and creativity are essential to me. That's why I have an admiration for pioneers, regardless of their field of work.
I used to program a lot for fun and engaged in game design. Before considering physics, I had contemplated studying computer science. However, during my reorientation, it didn't feel free enough, and real products seemed more attractive and important to me.
Generally, I have a very structured daily routine because it helps me focus on important decisions, but I am spontaneous enough to have a speed in my processes.
In my free time, I enjoy training. Health and fitness are important to me. Additionally, I practice inline freestyle slalom, a sport based on challenging tricks and stylish execution. Depending on the figure, balance, flexibility, agility, and strength are essential. Over the course of more than 12 years, I have won many competitions at the national level.
I also enjoy playing chess but more on a casual level. Otherwise, I have the aspiration to excel in everything I do.
